Q&A
How long have you been teaching NDC?
I have been teaching within the school since 2020 but I have been teaching NDC since 2023 when I became co-owner of the school!
What do you love about teaching your team?
I'm really passionate about giving the kids confidence & empowering them to achieve their goals and opportunities! I love teaching my team because they have such an intense determination to learn and improve which really inspires me!
Tell me something about you as a dancer!
I trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern and Contemporary before I found my love for hiphop! Dance is an outlet for expressing myself as I was always a shy & anxious child, dance helped me to grow outside of my comfort zone.
What is something you find difficult as a teacher?
Lacking confidence is massive for soon-to-be-teens and you can't teach them that so I try to individually work on that each session. I try to be approachable & friendly so the kids feel they can be fully themselves in the studio!

Q&A
How long have you been teaching DCC?
I've been teaching teams in Blueprint since 2017 and teaching DCC since 2021. I then became director and co-owner of the company in 2023.
What do you love about teaching your team?
I love their commitment to dance, their talent & their drive which has gotten stronger over the last few years. I love that they constantly give me a sense of pride in what I do because of them!
Tell me something about you as a dancer!
I've been dancing since I was 8, taught my first class at 14 and started managing the school at 21! You can learn a lot about yourself through dance and I think that is so special.
What is something you find difficult as a teacher?
Making sure that I am constantly pushing my team to be their best. They are all amazing dancers and it's my job to keep them progressing & finding new ways to motivate them, while ensuring they still love what they do.
